The Dynamic Load Management (DLM) system for a single Morek DC Charger is designed to optimize power usage and prevent grid connection overload. Here's a step-by-step guide to installing and configuring the DLM system:

Working Principle

- The Smart Meter and current transformers should be installed upstream to the DC charger connection to measure the power drawn by the charger and other loads on the location.

- The charger receives real-time grid connection load via RS485 Modbus RTU connection and can reduce charging power if there's a possibility of grid connection overload.

Step 1: Smart Meter Installation

- Follow the connection diagram, ensuring it is provided with voltages of each phase and a neutral.

- Orient the Current Transformers correctly to match the direction of the current flow when charging is in progress.

Step 2: Meter and Charger Connection

- Route the communication cable from the smart meter to the charger using an STP/UTP cable.

- Locate the central control unit in the DC Charger

For 30 kW model:

For 60 kW model:

For 120/180 kW models:

- Locate the relevant terminals on the central control unit.

- Connect the corresponding A and B wires from the meter to the charger.

Step 3: Configuration

- Use an Ethernet cable to connect the computer's Ethernet port to the charger's router's Ethernet port. Refer to the DC Charger NEW User Interface Setup Guide for more information.

- Head to "Charge Setting" -> "DLM Setting" and configure "DLM Switch" to "Server", entering the necessary parameters. Save the settings after configuration.

By following these steps, you can successfully install and configure the Dynamic Load Management system for a single Morek DC Charger, ensuring efficient power usage and preventing grid connection overload. For further assistance, refer to the user manual or contact our customer support team.
