At Morek, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. This document sets out the warranty coverage for all Morek electric vehicle (EV) charging products, including AC chargers, DC chargers, and related accessories.
To ensure eligibility for warranty coverage, all installations and repair must be carried out by an authorised professional, and only approved components and accessories may be used.
The following sections outline the duration, coverage, exclusions, and procedures of Morek warranty coverage in detail.
1. Warranty duration and activation
The warranty period depends on whether the product has been registered or not and is divided into standard and extended warranty.

- Consumables (e.g. charging cables, connectors, sockets, RFID cards, display): 6 months

After registration, the following extended warranty periods apply from the invoice date of the EV charger:
- EV chargers (AC and DC): 24 or 36 months
- Accessories (e.g. pedestals, cable holders): 24 months

The service can be ordered through the Morek sales team, by contacting ev@morek.eu, or via your local authorized professional or distributor.
The following paid services are provided:
1. Configuration support
Configuration support for chargers (including OCPP setup, network settings, firmware updates, etc.).
2. Technical support
- Phone-based technical support.
- On-site support (at the customer’s or supplier’s location).
Handling of chargers without internet connectivity
If a charger is not connected to the internet and cannot be accessed remotely via Morek’s system or the customer’s selected backend, Morek reserves the right to charge a diagnostic fee for identifying the issue.
The amount and application of this fee will be decided on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the issue and the decision of Morek’s technician. This fee is not applied automatically but is considered discretionary practice used only when necessary and agreed upon.
6. Installation and maintenance requirements
To ensure warranty validity, proper installation and regular inspection and maintenance are required and must be documented accordingly. To maintain warranty coverage:
- The charger must be installed by a certified electrician or qualified installer, in line with Morek’s guidelines and applicable EU and local standards.
- The charger must be inspected and maintained at least once every 12 months in accordance with Morek’s guidelines and relevant EU standards. Inspection results and maintenance records (e.g., service logs or inspection reports) must be kept until the end of the warranty period. These documents must clearly indicate the actual inspection dates and be stored in a way that allows verification of when the maintenance was performed, to avoid any risk of retrospective or backdated documentation.
- In the event of a defect or failure, the customer must:
- Stop using the product immediately
- Notify an installation/maintenance provider or warranty partner appointed by Morek within 7 days of discovering the issue to identifiy the defect.
- If a defect is discovered that falls under the warranty, a warranty claim form must be completed.
- Preserve the original state of the defect to enable evaluation. Any alteration or disposal of faulty components may result in denial of the warranty claim.
- Morek may require physical return of the affected component for inspection.
7. Ownership of replaced parts
To support quality control and analysis, Morek retains ownership of all components replaced under warranty.
The customer agrees to return such parts to Morek upon request, if logistically feasible.
8. Applicability
This warranty applies to all Morek EV charging products, regardless of whether the end user is a private individual (consumer) or a business.
The warranty is offered by Morek to its direct business customers (installers, distributors, service providers, etc.) but also applies to final users, provided the product is installed and used according to instructions. For the extended warranty, the product must be registered on time.
Where applicable, final customers may also have additional statutory rights under national or EU consumer protection laws. This warranty does not limit those rights.
9. Warranty claim procedure
To ensure timely and effective handling of warranty claims, the customer must follow the steps below and provide complete documentation.
All warranty claims must be submitted within 7 days after the discovery of the defect.
To submit a warranty claim:
- Contact support via ev@morek.eu or our official support portal: Wiki
- Include the following:
- Proof of purchase and proof of required maintenance.

In the event of a disagreement concerning warranty coverage or the root cause of a defect, Morek and the customer agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussions.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, either party may request a technical assessment by an independent laboratory or expert agreed upon by both sides. The outcome of the assessment conducted by a mutually agreed laboratory or expert shall be considered final and binding for both parties.
Costs for such assessment are to be pre-paid by the requesting party and later assigned to the responsible party based on the outcome.
This does not limit the consumer protection rights.
These warranty terms are governed by law of Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be settled in Harju County Court if not resolved amicably.
