Error code descriptions

This table describes the error codes indicated by the LCD display or the LED light bar. 

The LED light bar blinks the number of times corresponding to the error code - after counting the blinks, please refer to the code in the table below. 


For the LCD display, simply check the fault code shown.

1Leakage
  • Check whether the charging connector and it's cable are damaged or wet and try charging again.
  • Check for any water damage on the charger or installation.
2Overcurrent
  • Check whether the charging cable is connected properly and try charging again.
  • Check EV OBC - On Board Charger of the vehicle.
3Ground Disconnected
  • Check whether PE is securely connected to the input terminals and try charging again.
  • Check for any installation faults.

Overvoltage / Undervoltage

  • Make sure input cables are secured properly in the terminals.
  • Check input voltage with an external device. 
  • Check if voltage drops in input when load is applied.
5Contactor Fault
  • Check whether there are any loose Contactor cabling inside the device.
  • Restart cahrger with the MCB and try charging again.
6Abnormal CP
  • Check whether the charging cable is connected properly and try charging again.
7Socket Lock Fault
  • Pull out the charging cable, plug back in and try charging again.
8Over Temperature
  • Ambient temperature over 50℃
9Emergency Stop
  • Check wheter the (optionally installed) Emergency Stop button is pressed.
10Tamper Detected
  • Check wheter the front cover is properly closed (Tamper sensor optionally installed).
11Energy Meter Fault
  • Check whether communication cable is correctly connected and secure.
  • Make sure meter's baudrate is 9600.
12Diode Protection
  • Turn "Diode Protection" off in charger's configuration and retry charging the EV.
13Modbus Communication Fault
  • Turn off DLB Mode using Morek EV Tool app if CT-Hub is not used.


LED light bar status indications


GREEN – The charger is available and waiting for a vehicle to connect.


GREEN (blinking) – The charger is connected to a vehicle, but charging has not started yet. The charger is waiting for authorization (e.g. RFID card or mobile app activation).


BLUE – The charger is actively charging.


BLUE (blinking) – The charging session is currently paused. This may happen, for example, when the battery is fully charged or the session is temporarily on hold.


RED – A fault has been detected in the charger.


RED (blinking) – The charger is signaling an error code. Count the number of red blinks to determine the specific fault. Refer to the table above for error code descriptions and suggested solutions.
