1. Charging setup

  

Only after the system is set up can the charger enter normal working state and users can use the charger correctly.

Charging methods include Online charging, RFID charging, and button charging


The system setting is mainly divided into three steps: 

● Check IP address

● Platform settings

● Charging mode settings



1.1 IP address check

  

After the upgrade is complete, click the 4G signal button in the upper right corner of the screen to view the device IP, as shown below:



1.2 Online charging

 

When the charger is set to platform charging mode, users can remotely start and stop charging through the platform.


Use an Ethernet cable to connect the computer's Ethernet port and to the chargers router's Ethernet port. Open the browser and enter the chargers IP viewed in the first step in the address bar, for example 192.168.2.57, then click Enter. In the window that appears, enter the username admin, the initial password: 301204, and click the Login button, as shown below:


After successful login, the following is shown:



First, set the charger to platform mode. Select Charging Mode Settings in the System Settings Navigation, select OCPP Platform (Online) mode in the Value item, and click Submit after setting, as shown below:


Then select the Network Configuration tab and fill in the platform address (if there is a password or APN setting, please specify the configuration in the following interface), as shown below:


After filling in the form, click the Submit button, then click Save and Log out in the upper right corner.

After the system restarts successfully, click the upper right corner of the charging pile screen to check whether the platform is connected successfully, as shown in the following figure:



1.3 RFID charging

 

In the local card charging mode, users do not need to configure the charger connection platform. After the configuration is completed, users can directly swipe the card on the card reader to start or stop charging.


Local card charging configuration is divided into two steps:


Step 1: Select the Charge Mode Setting tab on the web and set the Value item below to Card Number mode, click the Submit button, and then click Save and Logout in the upper right corner, as shown below:


To charge by card locally, you must add the card number to the whitelist.


Step 2: After restarting, select the charging settings item in the left navigation, then select the White List tab on the right and click the Add a new RFID card button to add the card to the whitelist by swiping the card on the screen or click Add to manually add the card number to the whitelist. After adding, click Submit. After adding, you must refresh the page (just switch the page). After adding successfully, the card number will appear in the list below, as shown in the figure below:

Note: When manually adding a card number, it must be in uppercase letters, otherwise the verification will fail.

 


1.4 Button charging

 

The purpose of configuring button charging is for local customers to use. When the charger is configured for button charging mode, click the connector and then click the start/stop button, and the user can directly start or stop charging.


First, set the Charge Mode Setting to Button (Offline) mode on the web, click the Submit button, and then click Save and Logout, as shown in the figure below:




2. Detailed Setup


2.1. System settings

 

Access the charger settings as described in 1.1. and 1.2


2.1.1. Time setting

  

Time settings are divided into two situations: Online mode and OffLine mode.


In the Online mode, the system will automatically synchronize time if it is successfully connected to the platform. You only need to set the time format and time zone. After successfully logging in to the web, first select System Setting in the left navigation bar, and then select the Time Setting tab on the right. You can set the time format and time zone on this page. After the settings are completed, click Submit, as shown in the figure below:




In OffLine mode: The time setting is divided into two steps:


Step 1: Select System Setting in the left navigation bar, then select the Charge Mode Setting tab, set the charging mode to Card Number (Offline), after the setting is completed, click the Submit button, and then click the Save Restart button in the upper right corner, as shown below:


Step 2: In the System Setting navigation bar, select the Time Setting tab on the right. On this page, you can set the time format, time zone, and time (click the tool button on the right of the Time Setting Manually item to select hours, minutes, and seconds for setting). After the settings are completed, click the Submit button.



2.1.2 Network configuration

 

Select the Network configuration tab, and set the DHCP type, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS, APN, platform address, and platform authentication password as needed. After setting, click the Submit button, and then click the Save and Logout button in the upper right corner.



2.1.3 Charging mode setting

 

Select the Charge Mode Setting tab, and you can select the charging mode from Card Number (Offline), Button (Offline), or OCPP Platform (Online) (default), as shown in the following figure:

After the settings are completed, click the Submit button, and then click the Save and Logout button in the upper right corner.

 


2.1.4 Connector quantity setting

  

Select the Quantity of Connectors tab, and set the number of DC and or AC connectors in the, as shown in the following figure:

 After the settings are completed, click Submit, and then click the Save and Logout button in the upper right corner.

 


2.1.5 VIN switch

  

The VIN switch is off by default. When the switch is on, the vehicle can start charging through the MAC (the vehicle MAC must be added to the platform in platform mode and the vehicle MAC must be added to the whitelist in local mode)

Select the VIN Switch tab, and in the Value column, you can set the VIN switch. When the switch is set to on, click Submit, and then click Save and Logout in the upper right corner. After the charger restarts, you can start charging directly when the connector is plugged in, as shown in the following figure:



2.1.6 Password setting

 

 Select the Password Setting tab, and in the Value item, you can modify the web login password. After the modification is completed, click the Submit button, and then click the Save and Log out button in the upper right corner, as shown in the following figure:

 



2.2 Charging setting

  

2.2.1 Power limit setting

  

Select Charge Setting in the left navigation bar, then select the Power Limit tab, click the Power Limit drop-down box to select the system or module for power limit or unrestricted processing, as shown in the following figure:

 


2.2.2 White list setting

  

Select the White List tab and click the Add a new RFID card button to add the card to the white list by swiping the card on the screen or click Add to manually add the card number to the white list. After adding, click Submit. After adding, you must refresh the page (just switch pages). After adding successfully, the card number will appear in the list below, as shown below:

Note: When manually adding a card number, it must be in uppercase letters, otherwise the verification will fail.

 


2.2.3 Dynamic load balancing settings

 

Select the DLM Setting tab, and click the drop-down box in the Value item to set the dynamic load balancing switch and orderly charging settings (client or server), as shown in the following figure:



2.2.4 QR code setting

 

Select the QR Code tab, enter the URL address in the QR Code item, and set the terminal QR code address.


 


2.3 Terminal setting

  

2.3.1 DC terminal setting

  

Select Terminal Setting in the left navigation bar, and then on the right page, you can set the connector current, connector type, and connector air cooling mode for the DC terminal. After the settings are completed, click the Submit button, as shown in the figure below:

 



2.4 Real-time information

  

2.4.1 DC terminal information

  

Select Real-time Information in the left navigation bar, then select the DC Terminal Information tab on the right. You can view the real-time information of the DC terminal in the list below.



2.4.2 BMS information

  

Select the BMS Information tab and you can view the real-time information of the BMS in the list below.



2.4.3 Module information

  

Select the Module Information tab, and you can view the real-time information of the module in the list below, including module working mode, module temperature, working status, alarm status, three-phase voltage, output voltage, and output current, as shown in the following figure:

 


2.4.4 Real-time alert information

  

Select the Alert Information tab to view the alert information of each terminal, as shown in the following figure:




2.5 Historical information

  

2.5.1 Order Information (Transaction history)

 

Select Historical Information in the left navigation bar, then select the Order Information tab on the right. You can view the order information in the list below. The order information includes card number, start time, stop time, power, and termination reason

 


2.5.2 Historical alert information

  

Select the Alert Information tab and you can view the historical alarm information in the list below.



2.6 Maintenance function

  

2.6.1 Version information

  

Select Maintenance in the left navigation bar, then select the Version Info tab on the right. In the list below, you can view the system version information, including TCU version information, module version information, TMU version information, SECC version information, and CMU version information.

 


2.6.2 Network Test

  

Select the Network Test tab, enter the network address in the network address line, and click the ping button to test the network connectivity. The results are as follows:

 


2.6.3 Log Record switch

  

Select the Log Record Switch tab, and then you can set the log switch and recording period in the Value item below.

 


2.6.4 Export Logs

  

Select the Export Logs tab and click the Export Log button to export the log.



2.6.5 Update

  

Select the Update tab, click the Update button to select the corresponding firmware upgrade package file, and you can upgrade TCU, TMU, CMU, SECC.




2.7 Language setting

  

Click the language setting icon in the upper right corner and select the corresponding language icon you want to set.



2.8 Information check

  

The interface information includes version number information (CSCU and UI), 4G related information, platform connection status, Charger MAC address and IP address.

Click the 4G signal button in the upper right corner of the screen to display the information interface, as shown below:
