60/120/180 DC charger top cover removal and replacement

This guide explains the process for safely removing and replacing the top cover of Morek 60, 120, and 180 kW DC charging stations.

Tools Required:

• Phillips screwdriver
• Pliers
• Optional: Small stairs (for additional height, if needed)

Removing the op cover

1. Loosen the screws and hooks:

   • Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the two M4 stainless steel screws located on the top front of the cabinet.
   • If the lifting hooks cannot be removed manually, use the screwdriver to loosen them.

2. Save the hardware:

   • Carefully save the removed screws and lifting hooks for reinstallation later.

3. Remove the top cover:

   • Stand in front of the cabinet.
   • Grasp the front edge of the top cover with both hands.
   • Pull the cover forward and lift it upwards to detach it from the cabinet.
   • Use small stairs to reach the necessary height if the top cover is difficult to lift.

Replacing the top cover

1. Position the new cover:

   • Lift the new top cover to the top of the cabinet.

2. Align the cover:

   • Lower the top cover carefully and ensure it is flush with the left and right edges of the cabinet by checking the seams.

3. Secure the back side:

   • Move to the back of the cabinet.
   • Grasp both sides of the top cover with both hands and pull it backward to ensure the rear edge is flush with the cabinet.

4. Reinstall screws and hooks:

   • Install the two M4 stainless steel screws on the top front of the cabinet.
   • Reattach the stainless steel lifting hooks to the top cover.
   • Use tools to calibrate the lifting hooks so they fit perfectly onto the cabinet.
