How to Set the Charger to 1-Phase Power

Follow this step-by-step guide to configure your charger for 1-phase power.

Step 1: Accessing the Administrator Menu

  • From the default "Scan QR Code or Swipe Card" screen, tap the top-right corner of the display (over the MOREK logo) multiple times until the "Management" screen appears.
  • On the "Management" menu, tap the top-right corner (MOREK logo) one more time to trigger the password prompt.
  • Use the on-screen keyboard to type 1234 and press enter. This will open the "Administrator Information" screen.

Step 2: Configuring the Power Output

  • On the "Administrator Information" screen, look for the "Machine type:" setting on the right side. It will likely display a default value (e.g., 7+7K).
  • Tap the green button next to "Machine type:" to cycle through the available power configurations until you reach a single-phase value.
  • Select 7K for a standard 1-phase, 32A configuration (7 kW) or 3K if you require a lower 1-phase, 16A configuration (3 kW).

Step 3: Saving and Exiting

  • Once the desired 1-phase setting is displayed, press the Saving button at the bottom to apply the configuration.
  • Press Back to return to the main menus.

Machine Type Settings for CORE Series Chargers

Based on the hardware setup of your Morek EVC CORE series charger (e.g., 22 kW Wall Charger or 2x22 kW Pedestal Charger), cycle through and select the appropriate Machine Type value:

  • 3K: Single socket, 1-phase, 16A (up to 3.7 kW)
  • 7K: Single socket, 1-phase, 32A (up to 7.4 kW)
  • 7+7K: Dual socket, 1-phase, 32A per socket (up to 2x 7.4 kW)

Note: The default password for the Administrator Information menu is 1234.
